I could sit here and write about how I’ve fallen in love with the Olympics, or meeting new people on Friday nights or listening to the “Summer Sounds of the 90s” Pandora station, but I fear that would bore many of you because you’ve fallen in love with those same things recently. So today I’ll tell you that I’ve fallen in love with this website.
I enjoyed it from day one when I saw the first few posts and then again when I wrote my first post and my friends and family really loved it. However, today as I sit at my desk annoyed that it’s Monday and not a 5 – day weekend or Summer 2006 or something ridiculous like that, I’m so happy I have this outlet to just write about whatever and read really enjoyable posts by my fellow writers. I read one today that really stuck out to me because it put something into perspective that I’ve been meaning to do for a while. It’s always nice when you receive advice completely unprovoked and from a random source. In my case, that’s what just happened. I’ve been dealing with a situation and haven’t been quite sure what to do and I read this post and it just made sense. Something clicked, the light bulb turned on, I had an “ah hah moment” whatever you wanna call it.
I’m not gonna go into great detail because that’s not why you’re reading this. I’m just going to tell you that while I have much to fall in love with, it was this moment of clarity that I truly fell head over heels in love with…
