My Bed

I am NOT a morning person.

At all. I act like a five year old; hiding under my covers, hitting snooze until I oversleep to the point of panic, yelling like I have turrets if anyone tries to pull the covers off me. Don’t test me- this isn’t pretty…unless of course you’re just trying to give me a back rub or serve me breakfast in bed. Which in that case I’ll take french toast or eggs benedict, please and thanks.

When I finally wake up and check my phone (no text messages of course- BEST FEELING EVER-YES!) I then roll out of bed and get my day going.

Noon rolls around and I’m so excited to be back in bed around 8:00 PM catching up on episodes saved on my DVR- it’s my happy place.

I especially love my bed at night. Cold pillow -*UCH- soft fleece blankets -*DOUBLE UCH. I move my legs around and smile uncontrollably. I know you’ve been there, so don’t call up your friend and say how obsessed this girl is about her bed. You want to be in bed. Right now. With me. *UCH.

This happy place of mine is almost so great that I don’t want to use it for its actual purpose, sleep, because I don’t want the moment to end. I know as soon as I wake up, my heinous day begins and it’s hours until I’m back in my comfies tuning into last nights So You Think You Can Dance episode.

Please note that I’m not depressed, and don’t prefer cold, dark and quiet rooms. I just really love my bed, and the four blankets that I use.

Sleep well everyone.

________

KEY
*UCH- A positive sound effect. Often exerted when feeling comfortable or satisfied with something.
*DOUBLE UCH- Extra comfy and satisfied. Mazel tov on getting to this point.
